Paneeri Matar

Ingredients

1 cup blanched matar
Paneer made from 1/2 ltr milk
1 tomato (big)
1 medium sized onion
2 cloves of lahsun
1/2 inch pc of adrak
1 choti ilaichi
1/2 tsp haldi
1 tsp lal mirch
2 tsp dhania powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp kasuri methi (crushed between palms)
1/2 tsp amchur
3 tsp oil
Salt to taste

Process

Grind tomato, adrak, lahsun and onion in a mixer to make a paste.
Heat oil in a pan
Add ilaichi and the ground paste
Stir and fry till it leaves the oil
Add haldi, mirch, dhania powder, garam masala, amchur and kasuri methi
Crumble the paneer and add it to the pan
Mix thoroughly and add salt
Add warm water to get the required consistency of gravy
Add the blanched matar, cover and cook for 2 mins
Tasty paneeri matar is ready
Serve it hot with phulka, paratha, lachcha paratha, rice,Mix veg pulao stuffed naan or even bhatura



Paneer Matar Masala

Ingredients

Paneer cubes made of 1.5 ltr milk
1 cup matar coarsely crushed
2 tomatoes
1/2 inch adrak
3-4 cloves of lahsun
1 onion
2 khadi lal mirch
4 tsp oil/ghee
1/2 inch pc of tej patta
1/2 tsp haldi
1 tsp lal mirch
1 tsp dhania powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp kasuri methi

Salt to taste

Process

In a mixer grinder grind tomatoes, onion, adrak and lahsun
Heat 2 tsp oil/ghee in a kadahi and add the matar
Fry till it is dry and remove in a plate and keep aside
Heat 2 tsp oil/ghee in the kadahi and add tej patta and khadi lal mirch
Pour the ground masala and fry till it leaves the oil
Add haldi, lal mirch, dhania powder and fry
Add matar, paneer cubes, salt, garam masala and kasuri methi
Pour warm water to the required consistency
Simmer for 2-3 mins
Serve hot with phulka, paratha, lachcha paratha


Matar Paneer

Ingredients

1 cup blanched matar
3 Tsp ghee /oil
1/2 inch pc of tej patta
1 onion
1/2 inch pc of adrak
2-3 cloves of lahsun
1/2 tsp magaj seeds (soaked in water for 15 mins)
2 tomatoes
2 tsp dhania powder
1/2 tsp haldi
1/2 tsp lal mirch
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp kasuri methi
Salt to taste
Paneer made from 1.5 ltrs of milk

Process

In a mixer grind adrak, lahsun, onion, tomatoes, magaj seeds, dhania powder, haldi, lal mirch to make a coarse paste
Heat oil/ghee in a pan add tej patta and the ground masala
Fry the masala on low flame till it leaves the oil
Add salt, matar and paneer
Add little water to get the required consistency
Add garam masala and kasuri methi
Cover and cook for 2 mins
Serve hot with phulka, naan, lachcha paratha, rice
