Panha

Ingredients

2 Kairi (raw mango)
1/2 Cup pudina (mint leaves)
1 Hari mirch (green chilli)
Black salt to taste
Salt to taste
1/2 Tea spoon of sugar
1/2 Spoon bhoona jeera (roasted and ground cumin seeds)

Process

Boil the kairi and remove the skin and seed.
To this pulp add all the remaining ingredients and churn in mixer jar.
Take 2 Tea spoon (or as per taste) pulp in a glass and pour cold water.
Stir well and serve as a refreshing welcome  drink in hot summers.
Can also add ice cubes if desired.

PS: It is also made sweet—To the kairi pulp add 6-7 tea spoons of sugar, pinch of ilaichi powder, pinch of salt and churn it in mixer.Add required amount of cold water to make tasty panha.

Panha helps body to cool down in summers.

Lassi

Ingredients

200gms cold curd
5-6 teaspoons sugar
1/2 glass chilled water
1/2 teaspoon gulab jal

Process

Add sugar in a liquid mixer jar and grind it.
Add sugar and water and churn well.
Taste it and add more sugar or water as per taste.
Gulab jal can also be added for flavour.

Serve in a tall glass or a kulhad and top it with malai!
Enjoy the cool and refreshing drink…

Tips :
It can also be garnished with finely chopped dry fruits.To make it even more cooler add ice instead of water.
