Dal Wada


1/4 Cup chana dal
1/4 cup moong dal
1/4 cup urad dal
1/4 Cup rice
1 hari mirch chopped
1 Onion chopped
7-8 Kadhi patta chopped
1/2 inch piece of adrak
1 Table spoon hara dhania chopped
1 Tea spoon haldi
1 Tea spoon lal mirch
Pinch of hing (asafoetida)
Salt to taste


Soak all the dals together for 2-3 hours.
Coarsely grind them in a mixer jar with adrak, haldi, lal mirch, hing and salt.
Try to grind it with minimum water.
Heat oil.
Add 2 table spoons hot oil to the batter and mix.
Fry crisp vadas to golden colour.
Serve with coconut chutney.
