1 Cup tur (arhar) dal
1 lal mirch (red chilii)
1 Tea spoon jeera (cumin seeds)
1 Table spoon desi ghee
1/2 Tea spoon haldi
1 Clove lahsun (garlic) crushed
1/2 inch adrak (ginger) crushed
1 Tea spoon lemon juice (optional)
Salt to taste
Pressure cook dal along with lahsun and adrak.
Add haldi, salt and hot water if required.
Boil for 2-3 mins.
Heat ghee and add jeera and lal mirch.
Add onions and fry till it is soft.
Pour it on the dal and boil for a min .
Add lemon juice.
Serve hot with roti and rice
