1 cup cooked rice
1 onion finely chopped
1 green chill finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon rai
Pinch of hing
1/2 teaspoon haldi
1/2 teaspoon lal mirch
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon finely chopped hara dhania
5-6 curry leaves
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon oil
Salt to taste
Crush rotis into very small pieces by hand in a bowl.
Add rice, salt, sugar and green chillies and mix well.
Heat oil in a pan and add rai, hing and curry leaves.
Add chopped onions and fry till its soft.
Add haldi and lal mirch.
Add the roti-rice mixture and mix well.
Sprinkle little water (1 teaspoon) and cover for a minute and keep on low flame.
Garnish with lemon juice and hara dhania.
Tip – This dish is specially prepared with left-over rotis and rice and it tastes yummy!
