10-12 slices of bread
2 tomatoes finely chopped
1 onion finely chopped
1 green chilli finely chopped
8-10 curry leaves
1 tablespoon peanuts
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon haldi and lal mirch
Pinch of hing
Salt to taste
Pinch of sugar
2 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoon of finely chopped coriander
Cut the bread into small pieces.
Heat oil in pan.
Add mustard seeds, hing, curry leaves and peanuts.
Add onion, tomatoes and green chilli.
Saute it till it’s soft.Add bread pieces, salt and sugar.
Cover and keep on low flame for a minute.
Add lemon juice and garnish with coriander.
- This is a tasty way to use leftover bread.
- One can also use brown bread.
